{"id":23548,"date":"2015-12-09T00:59:02","date_gmt":"2015-12-09T00:59:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/itrc3.wpengine.com\/?page_id=2"},"modified":"2018-04-29T13:27:50","modified_gmt":"2018-04-29T13:27:50","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.arcc-network.org.uk\/about-us\/","title":{"rendered":"About us"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Adaptation and Resilience in the Context of Change network (ARCC) was staffed and managed by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ukcip.org.uk\/\">UKCIP<\/a>, and hosted by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eci.ox.ac.uk\">Environmental Change Institute<\/a>, University of Oxford. The network supported the creation of robust built environment and infrastructure sectors within the UK, to deliver benefits to society, the economy and the environment.<\/p>\n<p>Funded by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epsrc.ac.uk\">EPSRC<\/a>, we focused on three core objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>building community cohesion to develop in-depth understanding and synergies across the network<\/li>\n<li>provision and integration of knowledge to help ensure policy and practice have the best available evidence<\/li>\n<li>enhanced accessibility and uptake of research outputs to meet the needs of a diverse stakeholder community in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To find out more about the research projects we worked with, see the <a href=\"\/list\/project-summaries\/\">Projects pages<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Roger Street, Project manager<\/h2>\n<p>Roger was PI for ARCC work with particular responsibility for the strategic development of the programme and links with the wider researcher and stakeholder communities.<\/p>\n<h2>Vicky Hayman, Knowledge exchange and coordination officer<\/h2>\n<p>Vicky helped manage and coordinate the ARCC network.
