One of the Design for future climate competition entries has been awarded the highest ever BREEAM score.
The Co-operative’s new headquarters, One Angel Square in Manchester, will lower the company’s energy usage by 50% and reduce operations costs by a third. The project identified thermal comfort as being a particular issue and has implemented adaptation schemes to alleviate overheating.
